The amount that you have set aside will include the business start up expenses and the promotion and marketing expenses. I am of the view that almost the entire home based business ideas need good promotion to generate good returns. How much budget one allocates on the promotion and marketing entirely depends upon the resources you have and your strategy. But here too the beginners should not undergo a vigorous campaign. Firstly try on a small sample of people. Gauge their response; evaluate your weaknesses and short comings and then device a new and improved marketing campaign for a bigger sample.
