When your visitors click a Google ad, the advertiser pays Google, and Google pays you.
Interestingly, this program does not really cost you anything (you need a website of course) because no money crosses hand for displaying ads, only when an ad is actually clicked, then the advertiser pays Google and Google pays you. Adsense is pretty simple, in concept, all you need is a website and steady traffic and your site will make money from Google.
The Google Adsense program has had a good history of being very success for many businesses. And of course there is always still opportunities to make money from Google in this way. However, many Internet Marketers are finding that Google Adsense is no longer as profitable to monetize as many other advertising options that are available. Internet Marketers do still use Adsense, and very much Google to make money, that will not change any time soon.
